Temporary Overnight Road Closures – Ashford Road, Hamstreet, Ashford – 20 & 21 October 2020
Overnight closures of part of Ashford Road, Hamstreet, in the Ashford area are planned from Tuesday 20 October 2020 for up to 2 nights, from 7.30 pm through until approximately 5.30 am each night.
Ashford Road will be closed in phases between the junction with A2070 Hamstreet Bypass and the school, to the extent indicated at any time on site
The alternative route for through traffic is via Ashford Road, A2070 Hamstreet Bypass, Marsh Road and The Street.
Local access to the remainder of Ashford Road / The Street continues from either direction up to where the road is actually closed.
The closures are to enable Kent County Council to carry out essential carriageway resurfacing works.
The closures fall between 2 sets of Network Rail closures near the railway bridge.
