Response to Hallam
Regarding the Hallam flyer, the only response OPC have sent is as follows..
“On behalf of members of Orlestone Parish Council I would like to respond to the recent public consultation regarding the proposed development of land to the South of Hamstreet Road, in Hamstreet, Ashford Kent.
Orlestone Parish Council has seen extensive development in the last few years, which has led to the village being unable to cope with the additional demands on its infrastructure. For this reason members of Orlestone Parish Council are against all future development proposals.”
This response has been kept very basic so nothing in it can be used to enhance their application when it is considered by ABC.
OPC would urge everyone to respond, but to keep comments to a bare minimum.
Finally, OPC has noted that people who are concerned about this site being forwarded via the call to sites, have been contacting members of OPC directly via messenger and WhatsApp. Responses via these channels are unofficial and against our social media policy, so we urge you to submit any questions via the parish clerk : stiffells@btinternet.com.
